Oh Baby!

Foot

I'm a boy!

18 weeks old. Only a picture a mother could love.

We had our ultrasound yesterday. I had to sleep on it last night and let it sink in. I'm still in shock that I am going to be a Mommy again. I'm just so excited. I really never thought we would be going through this again and I am loving it!

The whole time Carlos and I have had no feelings about what we were having. This pregnancy has been so similar to my first pregnancy which I had a boy. But as I was getting ready yesterday morning I started thinking maybe it was a girl so did Carlos.

So we were surprised and happy to hear that we are having a boy. Of course we would be equally happy had it been a girl.I have been so concerned that things weren't going well because I hadn't gained any weight and I'm still in regular clothes I also just barely started feeling him move a few days ago which was very different from my other two pregnancies. But I think every Mom has those worries. I'm constantly having to remind myself that it has been a long time since I've had a baby and to just relax.

I'm happy to report that on the Ultrasound he measured within 1 day of my dates. Which means we are right on the money. And he looked great and he was very active. Today at my Dr's apt. I had gained 4 lbs since my visit last month. And I'm happy about that too. Silly I know. Give me a couple of months and I'll be complaining about too much weight gain.

Anyways, I am still just so grateful to be able to be a Mommy again. I'm so grateful that our prayers were answered in order to have this little one. GOD IS GOOD!

So dang excited for you! Can't wait for the little guy to get here! Any names picked out??

You really need to get your butt out to Kanab for a visit. Once you have a newborn it will be much harder. So just do it.:)
