Do not leave Camera unattended!

I decided I would download my pictures from my camera to my computer today. Well I was a little surprised to see that a cute little 6 year old had gotten a hold of my camera. Here are some of the pictures that she took when I was not around. Oh how I love my kids! Who doesn't need a picture of their blue toenails?

My husbands Award

In December Carlos received an award from the city for "Employee of the Year." This is only his second year with this department. He has been very humble about it and has played it off like it is no big deal. He says every person on his police force deserves it and I agree. They all work so hard and work long terrible hours but I do hope he knows how proud I am of him. He is a wonderful police officer and he does work so hard to provide for our family. Most of all he is a wonderful Dad and Husband. (he'll tell you that's his most important job.) So for that I nominate him for "Dad and Husband of the year award" too. Way to go Babe!

Happy Birthday Livie Lou!

Yes this post is late but that's just how I have been running my life lately. On Jan 8th our little Livie turned 12. Can you believe it? The young women in our ward came over and decorated her bedroom. I can't believe she is in young women's. She has already played church b ball and last night she did baptisms for the dead.

When Liv was 1 her Dad and I started dating. She is the best helper ever. But you don't want to cross her or she'll give you "the business" Most parents worry about their little girls marrying someone bad. Well we don't really worry about her to much she may be tiny but she can definitely hold her own.

I'm grateful everyday that Carlos has let me be her mommy. We love you Livie Lou! You are so special!
