Catch up continued!

Saturday morning Victor and I ran the Army ROTC 5k. (Boy am I out of shape.) This was the same day of the Dance recital but I figured it would be a good stress reliever for the day. I did terrible! worst than last year. Oh well I'll just keep signing up hoping I will improve. I kept telling Victor that he needed to get running so he would be ready for it. I also lectured him about staying hydrated. Especially since this was his first one. Well, he blew everyone away. Seriously, he was one of the first to finish. He even waited for me at the finish line and ran with me. Oh to be 13 again!
We did have pictures but they didn't turn out Sorry!

2009 DANCE PICTURES (NOT ALL OF THE GIRLS WERE THERE THAT DAY)

Saturday was our Dance Recital. It was a lot of fun. Next year I will not be teaching. My oldest son will be a high schooler and I will be caught up running kids to and fro all day.

We as a family have also decided to make sure we eat every dinner together every night and we want to be better at regular Family Home Evenings. There were many reasons that determined this choice for me. It was very hard but I know it is right.I used to agonize over decisions but I am learning to take them to the the Lord. Make a chioce and then have faith in that choice.

I will miss it terribly. But, I am excited to be Mom again and not a crazy buisness owner. I am thankful I had the opportunity. Hopefully some of those sweet little girls can now say that they were a dancer when they maybe otherwise wouldn't have had the chance. What a blessing it has been!

Last week my Emilio and Alesia had a parade at there school to celebrate being a title 1 school. It was a "hats off parade." I made a sign for Alesia to carry. Emilio thought he was too cool to hold a sign but his teacher roped him into helping anyways. I love that my kids have all gone to the same school I went to for 3rd, 4th and fifth grade.

Very cute pictures of the girls. Will the girl be teaching at your house under your studio name or what do you have planned? Sometimes hard decisions turn out to be the best ones made. Good luck!

The dance recital was great and my girls have absolutely loved dance with you. They will miss you being their teacher, but I agree that sometimes the hard decisions turn out to be the best ones. Oh, and happy anniversary! Hope you guys did something fun!
