Just a quick update on Diego since this is all the time I have. By the grace of God an appointment opened up for Primary Children's this last Friday instead of us having to wait until the middle of May so we went up and stayed the night and had the sleep study done. We were not told much by the tech only that some things were abnormal so we will have to wait for the Pulminologist to read it. Lately his heart rate has been dropping while he is asleep and he is having a hard time keeping his oxygen up while sleeping so he is now on oxygen while he sleeps.
Yes it feels like we are taking steps back instead of ahead but we are still hopeful that things will look up soon.
This whole thing has been very hard on all of us but our sweet little Alesia is really struggling. She has recently been diagnosed with depression and has been losing a lot of weight. She has been tormented by some kids at school about her weight ( I don't know why, she is a beanpole) and She is so terrified that something is going to happen to her baby brother. When she saw that he had to be on oxygen the other day she just cried and cried. She has such a tender heart. Plus she is still trying to get over the loss of my Grandpa. He was her best friend, she just adored him and misses him so much. We are working hard to get her better too right now.
In a nutshell, I feel like I am barely holding on by a thread right now. Sorry that isn't the most positive statement but I'm just being honest. Thankfully when I'm sure I can't take anymore I feel the Lord give me a little nudge and more strength and I am grateful. Thank you so much for all of the prayers I know that is what is getting us through right now.

Oh my goodness Kari, i am so sorry. My prayers are with your family and I hope you can get it all figured out with Diego soon. Having a child sick or affected in some way thats out of your control is so frustrating! And poor Alesia. Oh how we just love that girl! I had no idea she'd been struggling. How could ANYONE even say an unkind thing to her!?! She's absolutely adorable and Macie just loves her. Stay strong and this time soon shall pass...hopefully sooner than later ;)
Kari!! I don't know how you keep going. You must be one strong Momma!! I'm so sorry that your family has these trials to endure. I do hope you get news back from Primary's SOON. I think of you and your family often. You are in my prayer's.
Poor little baby! Now he really does look like grandpa in that picture! I am glad that you were able to get him in and I hope they can come up with some answers soon! Love you!
I'm so sorry to hear that Aunt Kari. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Love you!
Kari I loved seeing you last Friday. It always does my soul good to see my baby sister. You are an inspiration to me. You are so wise and strong. You've been through so much in your life and you continue to amaze me. I wish more than anything I could be there with you. Stay strong you can make it through this. Kiss my Alesia for me.
I have been thinking about you the past several weeks. I hope that you find the answers you are looking for so that you can fix whatever the problem is!
Praying for QUICK answers from the hospital for you! My heart is breaking for Alesia (and you!). I love that girl, I always have. It kills me that we can't just take our kids' pain away. I would gladly take it all on so they didn't have to deal with it, as I'm sure you and every other mother out there would too! Love you guys!!
