This last Thursday Carlos and I attended the Police Officer Ball. I was a little stressed about going because I didn't realize that most of the wives had gone out and bought formal gowns until two days before. So I just borrowed a dress from a co worker that wasn't very formal but it worked.
They handed out awards, we ate and danced. My Uncle Geri happened to be there playing guitar with the band. They even took couples photos just like we were at a high school dance. I'll post ours later when we get it. They had all of the officers stand and recite the oath they took when they were sworn in and sign a paper stating that they would live up to the oath they took. All in all. It was a pretty fun night.

haha. I am laughing at the comment you left me. I totally thought of you when I said that about dancing! It's not that I don't like it, I am just deathly afraid that that's what my girls will be into because I know NOTHING ABOUT IT! At all. I am lost. But if they pick up a basketball, I am right there with them:)
