One Of Those Days

Sheesh....Yesterday was a dooozy. The day started out with me going to Albertsons. I tried to use several coupons that I had and the cashier kept goofing up on them. Then she started sending items back and forth which in turn left me looking the the village Idiot in the check out stand. Yeah you know what I mean, when there is only one check stand open and 20 people behind you. I finally told her never mind after the 10Th "I hate you look" from the people waiting behind me.

When my kids got home from school I had to take Emilio over to Scouts. As I was pulling out of his scout leaders driveway I hit a trailer that was parked out in the road. This was not only my neighbors trailer but also my husbands Sargent's trailer. Luckily, no damage to the trailer. Unluckily, damage to my car. (what a great time to be unemployed right now.)

To top it all off later that night my husband found a snake under our house. I told him to get rid of it and he decided to keep it and let the kids pet it. I was on my way out the door to take Victor to his graduation dance and the snake bit Victor. There I am on the porch yelling at Carlos, him yelling at me and our son dripping blood with my daughter screaming her head off as the neighbors walk by. Yeah, we were pretty pathetic! I'm sure we will be the next rumor.

Carlos told me he wasn't sure what kind it was and that I needed to take Victor to the Instacare. We arrived there and were told we would have to go to the ER. I frantically decided to call his Dr. After talking to his Dr. I decided to let him go to the dance and not go to the ER. Yes I know, I won't be getting the mother of the year award any time soon.

I have always said our family doesn't just have one of those days we have one of those lives. If it can go wrong, it will. But we go through it and we move on and try our best to enjoy the adventure that is our crazy life.

It sounds like you guys just should have all gone back to bed and started the day over. At least Victor now has a cool story to tell all of his friends!

I am crackin' up! Not at your expense I promise, but just that you have those days too!!! I thought I was the only one :) I'm sorry about your car...that kind of stuff irks me cuz A)its always my fault and B)we can never afford to fix it. So we just live with them and the memories :) I love the pics of Macie and Alesia at the pool...they're such cute little friends. We need to for sure do lots of play dates this summer! That's gonna be the only thing that gets me through! ha ha.
